What is san martin de las piramides?

San Martin de las Piramides is a municipality located in the State of Mexico, Mexico. It is situated about 55 kilometers northeast of Mexico City and is home to the Teotihuacan archaeological site, which includes the famous pyramids of the Sun and Moon. The town has a population of approximately 27,000 people and is known for its traditional and cultural events such as the Feast of San Martin de Tours, the Day of the Dead celebrations and the Holy Week processions. The town's economy is based mostly on agriculture, with a focus on the cultivation of corn and beans.
